My Story
As the President and CEO of Paradigm Development
Group, I want to welcome you to our website. I hope you
find it useful and informative.
Our goal at PDG is to help companies,
organizations, and individuals achieve their full potential, to
turn that hidden, and many times unknown, potential into peak performance.
Our satisfaction comes from seeing good people become great and
great people become superstars.
Before starting Paradigm Development Group
I spent thirty years in the commercial lighting industry. After
graduating from San Jose State University I began my career. In
1971 college graduates were a dime-a-dozen, and job opportunities
were slim. I started working in the warehouse of a wholesale electrical
distributor, and, at the end of the day, one of my functions was
sweeping the warehouse floor.
From those humble beginnings I went on to own two successful manufacture
representative agencies and one import/export lighting supply company.
Not content to experience just the entrepreneurial world, I held
three upper management positions in the international corporate
lighting fixture manufacturing sector; the last being the vice president
and general manager of the world's largest manufacturer of fiber
optic lighting.
In 2002, I came to realize that I wanted to do two things with my
business/people skills; one, I wanted a business vehicle where I
could practice 100% of my values and ethics, and two, I wanted a
vehicle where I could truly assist others to succeed.
So what is success? Money, recognition, fame, glory, satisfaction,
accomplishment . certainly all of these are parts of success, but
definitely not everything. Success needs to be complete; we need
to experience success in all aspects of our lives including financial,
family, health, values & beliefs, mental, and social. We've all
heard the saying; "success is a journey, not a destination." That's
true; I also like to think of success as "the continual achievement
of our own predetermined goals, stabilized by balance, and purified
by belief." Living our lives by practicing this definition means
that we will never be bored. We will always have a zest for life
and the new challenges it brings. The excitement is never ending.
It will keep us young.
